Your book talks about established and successor technologies. Further, "because successor technology is initially less efficient than established technology, established companies and their customers often make the mistake of dismissing it, only to be surprised by its rapid performance improvement." Give an example of the dynamic of established and successor technologies (aside of any example given in the textbook). In your example, has the established company dismissed the successor technologies? Whether they have or have not, what are the implications of that decision?
