IHP 670 Final Project Idea Guidelines and Rubric
Though not a formal milestone, this assignment sets the stage for the rest of the final project and allows your instructor to vet the scope of your chosen topic.
Consider your instructor’s feedback carefully and incorporate it into the milestones and final project submission. First, identify the organization or health community that you would like to use for your final project, and explain why you have chosen this organization
and/or community setting.
Justify where you believe there is room for a new program that addresses a substantive healthcare problem.
Finally, include a brief sketch of a program plan that aligns with the strategic objectives of the organization and aims to solve a measurable health-related
problem. Note that you must score “Evident” for each critical element in the rubric to move forward with the final project. Your instructor may ask you to resubmit.
Guidelines for Submission: Your assignment must be submitted as a 1- to 2-page Microsoft Word document with double spacing, 12-point Times New Roman
font, one-inch margins, and at least two peer-reviewed sources cited in APA format.
