Although many scientists can give facts

Need a 150 word rsponse to

Although many scientists can give facts on why something is the way it is, social scientists cannot because there’s is no absolute way to know why someone did something. This is why social science researchers mostly use theories of humans’ behavior and human systems. In the chapter it states that when researcher try to come up with a theory on human behavior they normally do one of two things. The first one being coming up with a hypothesis, which is scientific guess that can be tested. The second being the researcher will have questions that will show the way for others to see what the researcher is stating. The chapter then goes into the different methods on how these researchers gather their data to check their questions or their hypothesis. Quantitative method is the first method mentioned, which is the collection of numerical data using: Modes, Medians, and means. The next method is Qualitative method, which is based on the language of individuals and the methods of data collecting are: interviews, document analysis, surveys, and observations. The final method mentioned is simply the combination of both Quantitative and Qualitative methods. Writing in the social science has a many different varieties, but they all basically follow the same pattern. The writing starts out with an Introduction, which includes what the study is about as well as the background. Next is the Methods, which was talked about in the research portion. Following is the Results that the scientists have found throughout the process. After the results is the Discussion that is what they use to tell the reader why this study is important. Finally the scientist wraps up with a conclusion, which tells their findings.
