Should a holy book like the Bible be read as literature, for example like you read the latest best seller? What are the potential problems? Are the perceived benefits worth the problems? The question is essentially asking if people should read the book for entertainment purposes, or similar to how some of you had to read Shakespeare in English class. Should a book that is considered sacred to a group of people be read by others for entertainment purposes?
