In order to help mold the Soviet people into this new form, music and art became integral to the propaganda involved. Soviet “Mass Songs,” or songs meant to be sung by the masses, were easily learned songs meant to be sung that taught the common people about Soviet ideals. The Red Army Ensemble and Choir visited all over the USSR to display an example of this musical style. After World War II and into the Cold War, it turn into an international and popular touring group with the objective of disseminating the communism’s ideology to other regions. I think that even though the Soviet suffered defeat, the success of the music is something that can be marveled years from now. The impact that music has on people; which can also trigger a sense of pride, is something that will resonate for years
