General question

How does television, the internet and other forms of modern communication impact political parties? How does our system of primary elections impact political parties? I will need this is in the following format: -APA format -word document -twelve pitch -double spaced -a cover page and at least 2 pages of information -insert footnotes as needed -additional page listing all sources you will want to mention that TV, radio, the internet and other forms of modern communications further weaken political parties, which were already weak to begin with due to the separation of powers. Before the 24 hour news cycle began, most voters turned to their political parties to be briefed as to which candidates and initiatives to vote for as well as which ideologies to support. Why? They has few other places to go to obtain this information. The 24 hour news cycle changed all that, as political parties lost their monopoly on controlling the political news and information of the day once cable TV, talk radio and later the internet began covering political issues. As it relates to primary elections, you will want to include that primary elections often cause tension within political parties. In some cases, when managed well, primary elections can battle harden and improve the performance of a political party's nominee. In other cases, such as with the Republican Party in 2016 and with the Democrat Party in 1980, primary campaigns and elections can cause such deep tensions and resentments that the party becomes scarred and divided, often resulting in the party losing the general election.
