The Gift of the Magi by O. Henry, is the story I chose. The story represent the true meaning of love.  The conflict presented in this story in my opinion is the lack of money and how they had to get rid of the most precious possession to provide a gift to the other person. Jim selling his watch and Della her hair shows the dedication the have for each other, making the story romantic. As individual we always sacrifices are best for those we love. This exactly what they did for each other without even knowing. In this story the write in a third person perspective in the view of Dalle. The coparasion to other thing allows you to understdnad the passion that is there for one another. The describition given to help the readers understand better the situation and experience the passion. They were not expecting the same results in sacrifices, irony in life. 

How the riches in life are not based on money but those around you, how happiness can make you rich in life.
