Winfield Refuge Case Analysis

Please follow instructions carefully. There are two main deliverables for this task:

1. A 4 pages summary (12 fonts size, double spaced, Times Roman font) of individual analysis in a summary document/fact-sheet (not including attached spreadsheet). Rubric for scoring this analysis is as follows:

Understanding/Concise statement of Problem- 5 pts

Rationale for each financing option considered including understanding of EBIT chart- 10 pts

Annual cash outlays for each option - 10 pts

Impact of each decision - financial ratios, risk and return, corporate control and flexibility - 10 pts

Selling points (Pros and Cons) to each director; why financing option chosen – 10 pts

Format and Layout of Information in supporting decision - 5 pts

 

2. The second deliverable is a Powerpoint presentation for the case. The PowerPoint presentation should be at least 10 slides which provides analysis of the case and your recommendation.The rubric is attached.

The following 4 files are attached:

1. The Winfield refuge case narrative

2. An Excel file with exhibits that should be used to analyse case

3. A word document with points to consider in analyzing this case

4. The scoring rubric for the powerpoint (second deliverable)
