Thesis statement: Natural disasters indirectly affects society in ways that are often missed by some, due to the natural disaster's more visible effects aiding as a diversion, but, after getting to understand these inconspicuous ways by closely examining natural disasters, societies, and how natural disasters can affect society, they will be able to grasp and even better understanding of why societies differ.

Topic 1. Natural disasters are notoriously known for their destructive power over the Earth and what resides on it.

Topic 2. Societies are affected by a variety of factors that vary in terms of conspicuousness.

Topic 3. Natural disasters have many ways of altering societies with their destructive forces.

Topic 4. Although natural disasters are known for causing devastation through direct means, they can affect societies indirectly as well.

Topic 5. The knowledge that natural disasters can affect society indirectly and directly can be used to determine how natural disasters influence societies' differences in great detail.
