1) Upon completion of reading four chapters in Talent Is Overrated, write a double-spaced, two-page essay that begins with describing what the author, Geoff Colvin, states in Chapter 2 regarding why he believes employee talent is overrated in organizations.

2) Continue by reading Chapter 5 and Chapter 6 and summarize what deliberate practice is and isn’t – and how it works. Be sure to incorporate what Colvin explains as the specific way deliberate practice changes us and how it can make all the difference in performance improvement in your summary.
