From the main page run your mouse over the tab titled “Preparedness, Response, and Recovery” and then select “Local Resources.” From the Local Resources page select the link for State Homeland Security and Emergency Services. Find your state and examine your state’s Homeland Security website. Following your review construct a two page paper addressing the following:

• Overall ease of use of the site
• Efficacy of the presented data; was the information both useful and valuable. Briefly expand your evaluation by explaining your position meaning if you felt the information presented was useful explain why you felt it was useful.
• Compare with another state and evaluate the difference in information presented. Explain which site offered better information and why.
• List changes, additions, or deletions you would like to see made to your state’s Homeland Security site and why those changes, additions, or deletions would be important and/or necessary.
