Prepare and deliver a 2-3 minute “elevator speech” as if you ran into an executive/boss where you work or hope to work. In an elevator speech, you should try to “sell” yourself to your employer or potential employer in a brief period of time--roughly the amount of time you might be on an elevator with that person. While you should prepare and research what you will say, this speech is meant to be impromptu and given “off the cuff” without any notes. In order to prepare your speech, you will need to conduct an audience analysis to determine who you will be speaking to. Your audience analysis should analyze your hypothetical audience (an employer, CEO, etc.)
