Use Visual Basic Coding 2013

Use Visual Basic Coding 2013 or above for the Websites:

Review the Creating ASP Websites using data video links at the bottom of the

Create the Authors database as described in the video. Do not worry about entering the data as described in

the video - importing the files etc. Just enter your own data into the tables. A minimum of 10 rows of data.

Add an additional table named BookTitles Include the following fields:

BookID type int, primary key, no null values, and no duplicates, autogenerate the id number

BookTitle type nvarchar 50

BookSummary type nvarchar(MAX) set to 100

AuthorID int , no null values

Published year nvar(10)

4. Form a relationship between the BookTitles table and the Authors table.

5. Create queries from the database.

Create the Tableadapter queries that were described in the tutorial.

Create an query that includes the following:

BookTitle, published year, book summary, lastname, firstname

6. On the Default.aspx page add each of queries using the appropriate data control to display the

information.,

7. Add a Details.aspx page for the author information.

8. Add a Books.aspx page to display the book information.

Note: As with all web pages you should define the title tag for each page, add any alt or title attributes to

images. You may add color , heading etc to these pages or any other design element.

Add a new page to the application called authorsupdate.aspx

On this page the user should be able to ADD a new author by entering information into textboxes and then clicking a button that says add new author .

All fields must be validated.

2.  Create a new page addbooks.aspx.

On this page you will allow the user to choose an author and display the books that are already in the database for this author in a gridview.

Next you will allow the user to add a new book for this specific author using textboxes and a Add new book button.

All field should be validated.

Obviously these are webpages so they should look and feel like webpages .

Copy the application and then zip the source.
