Since the beginning of the 20th century movements with the suffix “ism” began to surface in the theatre world. These movements stretched the boundaries associated with theatre and asked audiences to participate in thinking outside the box, not only about theatre but also about life. Please choose one of the eight “ism” movements below and find out what each movement was and how it influence(s)(d) theatre. Each person will: - Write a 5-7 page research paper: MLA format, 12 pt font, 1 inch margins, double spaced.
