Pie Chart

One type of graph that is commonly used is a pie chart (or a circle chart). A pie chart is named for how it looks similar to a pie when sliced. Pie charts are usually used to show proportion of similar items. Its important to understand graphs because graphs make it easier to understand some concepts rather than putting them into words. Graphs are important in my life because my job is contracting and we're constantly using graphs to show a breakdown of invoice information and what contractor are apart of which small business demographic.
