Compare the plight of the people who live in Plato's cave with the uneducated people of our world. You may use any type of education that you think the uneducated people of our world are missing out on and how it might help them change their beliefs about certain things. Keep in mind that the people in Plato's cave were chained there - against their will - does this have a parallel with today's uneducated population? Should people outside the cave have made a greater effort to go inside the cave to enlighten their fellow humans?  If so, how?
