Short Paper Two

Instructions

This will be short paper exploring the ethical views of one of the theorist covered in the material for the first three weeks of the course or another one of your own choosing. If you plan to write on a theorist that is not covered in the material for this course, please check with the instructor before beginning the paper.

The main point of this paper is to briefly summarize and analyze a philosopher’s views. Your analysis can be added as you go along in some final paragraphs. You are to also add your own critical or evaluative comments (positive, negative or both) at the end of the paper.

The paper should be 4-5 pages or about 1,000-1,400 words in length, in size 12 Times New Roman font, double-spaced, and follow MLA or another style guide format. Below is an example of an outline for such a paper on Kant’s Theory of the Good Will.

Is it always good to do what you yourself this is right? (i.e. what interests you in this topic).

Overview of Kant’s Theory of the Good Will (make if brief, but include enough information that someone who has not taken this course would have a basic understanding of the theory or theorist).

Analysis Kant’s theory

In my view Kant does (or does not) give a reasonable response to my question or the reason I was interested in the topic
