In this open response, you will be taking a road trip to a destination of your choice. We
are going to imagine these things: You are traveling with a friend. You are both 21 or older, have valid driver’s licenses, and a credit card. The
reason you will need a credit card even if you have cash is that most car rental
places and hotels will require it. Many will not let you rent or get a room for the
night if you are not an adult. Your total trip with entertainment must be no more than $1500 all together. You will spend 5 days (4 nights) away. You must budget $35 a day per person for food. ($25 if your hotel has free
breakfast or continental breakfast.)

Where would you like to go? Remember that it must be within driving
distance. You don’t want to spend all 4 days driving! If you use some of the

some research on the city you are traveling to.

C. Does it serve a free breakfast? If it says continental breakfast, it does.
D. What else do you know about the rooms? V. Entertainment (10 pts)
What are some of the activities you would like to do once you get there?

List the activities you plan and estimated costs here. Don’t forget the cost of
souvenirs. VI. Add up the Cost. You must show how you get your calculations to get
credit. (10 pts)
