i need someone to analyse and respond to 2 of my classmate answer to this question
this is the question
To even begin to understand terrorism, therefore, the first question that must be asked – and answered – is “What is terrorism?”What makes some action an act of terrorism as opposed to a pedestrian level crime of the same behavior? If I kill someone, what makes it a terrorist assassination as opposed to a mere homicide? What makes the taking of another person a terrorist abduction as opposed to a kidnapping? Many definitions of terrorism, especially international terrorism, exist. The U.S. government alone has been credited with having at least a dozen different definitions espoused by various laws and government departments and agencies. Develop your own definition and explain why it is superior to that of the U.S. government.Your definition, while complete, must be as succinct as possible
I attached the article you can use it as a resource to understand the question
your responses should be positive and nice in the same time
for example , i agree with you and say your respond
you responses should be like a message to my classmate

My name is Alharbi, Fadhi from Saudi Arabi. I am a Registered Paramedic. I employed at MOH – Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as an Emergency Department Paramedic Terrorism has many definitions, but there is no particular universal agreed meaning. Terrorism can be explained as the use of aggression and intimidation to achieve political, religious, or ideological changes. In the modern times, terror activities have increased across the globe. There are hundreds of established terror groups in all parts of the world, but some of the most notorious ones include Al-Qaida, ISIS, and Alshabab among others. These groups capture, kill, and attack people in different areas to threaten and establish a political or religious milestone. The US government categorizes terrorism as activities carried out by a group or individuals, which cause security threat, deaths, and intimidate the system. The 9/11 is one of the most serious terroristic attacks carried in US. My definition is superior to the one explained by the US government because it talks about acts of violence and other ideologies that are meant to intimidate the security system.
What makes some actions to be categorized as acts of crime rather than pedestrian level crime is the use of force, violence and threats. For instance, an action such as killing another person can be considered terrorism if it has been done with the intention of gaining social or political milestone. If I kill someone with the intention to cause threats or intimidate a system, such an action can be considered terrorism.
Many people are kidnapped and in most of the cases, the perpetrators will request money in return. However, a situation in which an individual is taken away and threats or the criminals want to intimidate the government and so on, then, this is a case of terrorism. For instance, Boko Haram kidnapped several girls and it released pictures of the victims and made demands. The Boko Haram also wanted to send a message to the government. The groups made threats and demands, which is why this act can be categorized as terrorism

The western definition of terrorism is greatly faulted for focusing on the act rather than conceptualizing the essence of terror as a highly politicized concept and a system of power. An act of error is largely different from pedestrian level homicide or abduction. Rather, I argue that terrorism acts are propagated from a more abstract etiological and historical context. For the purposes of this study, terrorism is defined merely as the modern manifestations of deeply rooted phenomena in the west. In modern times, depending on the traditional rational self-interest as a guide to understanding terrorism can no longer be relied upon in understanding the war waged against the West by terrorist outfits.
Nonetheless, it is becoming increasingly difficult to understand the religious views, policies, and motives that inspire these acts. Murawiec’s The Mind of Jihad offers a different perspective from the previously held notion that Muslims use the Islam paradigm to propagate terror against non-Muslims for grievances they hold against the West. Murawiec instead explores the correlations between radical Islam and several uniquely held western concepts. Murawiec’s theory purports that jihadists represent the Islamic versions of unorthodox Christians driven by heroic impulses to wreak havoc in Europe during the lawless age. He describes Jihadists as a bloodthirsty organization that has little regard for the innocent
