This assignment is designed to provide you with the opportunity to apply knowledge and evidence in the field of early learning/family studies to a topic of your choice. You may choose any topic related to early childhood and early learning and use this as a space to explore it further, even if it is not covered on the course. You are required to use at least 2 academic sources to investigate your questions further. If you are left with further questions instead of answers, that's acceptable too, but I expect that your research will attempt to dive into some of the questions you pose. First, you will introduce your topic and how it's important as a larger issue. Then you will write about why you're interested in this topic and outline the questions you're wondering about (maybe focus on 2). Then explore the two sources you chose for the topic in some depth and discuss how it pushed your thinking ending with your personal conclusion. Follow the rubric for the assignment on Canvas to help you structure your paper into relevant sections. Please remember to put in in-text citations and a full reference list at the end of your paper.
