I need help with a word problem for my algebra 1 class

Mr. Ed plans to build a rectangular pen for his new pony. He plans to have three wires strung between pairs of posts evenly spaced along each side. The plan calls for 12 posts on each of two sides and 20 posts on each of the other two sides. The posts are spaced 12 feet apart. Ed adds an additional 60 feet to his overall total to allow him to wrap the wire around the posts as he string the wire from post to post. How many feet of wire does Mr. Ed need to purchase?
