our reliance on digital methods of mass communication?

Around 350 words, doulbe-spaced, in APA format. Please cite at least one source.

[DIGTAL CULTURE]: John Oliver, during the Republic National Convention, criticized politicians for their willingness to ignore facts in deference to how people "feel". (Click here for the clip and the transcript). Most importantly, read the conversation with Newt Gingrich. In digital culture, changing things to 1s and 0s means that nothing is ever permanent. What is the relationship between how society perceives "Truth" and our reliance on digital methods of mass communication? The answer could be, nothing, but you will need to defend that, as you will need to defend any answer you provide. To be completely transparent, I am asking you to assess how much influence the culture has on how we interact with each other.
