open Lockdown from the start menu of your computer.

Unless otherwise noted, there is only one correct answer for each question.  You will have 50 minutes for 50 questions to complete the quiz.  The instructor assumes that you will be using your text when taking this quiz.

you will take your tests within a special internet browser called LockDown.  You willNOT be able to take tests using your regular browser (Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.). 

To get started, download LockDown here: http://www.respondus.com/lockdown/download.php?id=329315609.  Be sure that you are on a computer that will allow you to download and install new software.  If you are using a public computer in a college computer lab or public library, you will most likely be blocked from installing LockDown.   If that is the case, you will need to find another computer on which to take your tests.

Once it is downloaded and installed, open Lockdown from the start menu of your computer. From there, log back into Canvas and return to this Practice Quiz in that browser.
