The parents will sit down with the child

The other strategies that will encourage parent-teacher relationship in their child's literacy area are:easy to use activities in the home, family literacy bags, and informational workshops. First, one of the strategies is to have parents to use easy to do activities in the home. The parents can help their child pick out books that are enjoyable to read. The parents will sit down with the child and listen to them read. The student will get more out of this type of activity. Second, another strategy is to have family literacy bag. The parents that can't participate in school based events can have their child bring home a family literacy bag of books. In the family literacy bag is a reading activities and books that the parents can read with their children the students can take these books home to share with their families. The last strategy is the informational workshop. The teacher can communicate different reading strategies to the parent in a newsletter, or through the teacher's website. The teacher can use these tools to build home/scholl partnership with the parents.
