2. Discuss the effect of venous return and heart rate on exercise EDV. Exercise stimulates an increase in venous return and heart rate. An increase in venous return will increase EDV. The increasing heart rate during exercise not only increases venous return but EDV too. If the heart rate becomes too fast it decreases filling time lowering EDV.Â

Having trouble answering this question got kicked back because increase heart rate does not increase EDV I can only think that it will either not change it at all or lower EDV because the faster the heart rate the less the heart can fill reducing preload how can I answer this better to not get kicked back TY
