I want a response paper

The reading responses and short papers will be based on assigned readings; it will not be necessary to do any additional reading or research. In the one-page papers, you will select one of the assigned readings for each week (beginning with Week 3, and not counting the weeks in which we have mid-term exams, Weeks 6 and 12), and explain how that reading helps you understand the nature of good and/or evil in ancient Egypt. Your response can come in outline or bullet-list form if you choose, but whatever the format, they should show that you have thoroughly read and understood the text you are discussing. These response papers should be turned in at the conclusion of each Friday’s discussion section; it may help you to keep them during class and refer to them during the discussion. However, to get credit for the papers, they MUST be typed. Hand-written response papers will NOT be accepted (to ensure that they were done before class, not written out during class!).
