Find the current rate of population change (cite source).
Choose an interval (at least 20 years) to analyze.
Apply the rate of population change over your time interval.
Represent the predicted population change in 3 different ways: table, equation, and graph.
Final Product
Produce a posterboard that neatly and creatively displays your country’s predicted population change.
Scoring Criteria
Country Snapshot (10%) - Tell me something interesting about the country. For example, why did you pick it? What are some facts about it?
Data Display (25%) - To get full credit, print your table, equation, and graph.
Table: Is your table thorough? You need not show every year, but make sure your table has at least 10 data points.
Is your function clear?
Is your graph well done. Your graph should have a title and axes labelled.
Data Accuracy (25%) - Are the numbers correct? Did you use an exponential model?
Overall Appearance (20%) - Is the project neat? Creative?
Exponential Explanation (10%) - Explain why this project is best modelled with exponential growth (or decay). What is exponential growth (or decay)?
Source Citation (10%) - Anytime we turn in work, we must be honest and let people know what sources we used in completing our work. For this project, there are at least two numbers that you have to get from an outside source.
