M-PESA Sequence Diagram Paragraph

First create the UML diagrams described below. Once those have been created, have one member of the team complete the two matching UML team quizzes (UML Sequence Diagram and UML Use Case Diagrams). The diagrams created by the teams should be very helpful in answering the quiz questions.

M-PESA Sequence Diagram Paragraph (Narrative-to-diagram paragraph from the "Go-to-Market Strategy" section of the Case Study.)
"Safaricom made customer registration free and convenient. Customers had to register in person with an M-Pesa agent with their name, Kenyan national ID number, date of birth, occupation, and mobile phone number. The agent verified the ID number and checked the customer's SIM card to see if it was preloaded with the M-Pesa application. If it was not, the agent upgraded the SIM card (while allowing the customer to retain his or her phone number) at no charge. The customer immediately received a text message with a one-time activation password and the agent walked the customer through the process of activating the service and choosing a PIN, and explained the service and fee structure."

UML USE CASE DIAGRAMS

Narratives from "Building a Distribution Channel" section of Case Study

FIRST USE CASE DIAGRAM
M-PESA Use Case Diagram Paragraph (Narrative-to-diagram)
"The first was direct transactions with head offices (*HOs). Typically, retail agents with excess cash had to come to the HO to deliver or offload cash. <<SKIP to>> E-float was transferred immediately to the agent's account."

SECOND USE CASE DIAGRAM
"The second method <<SKIP to>> - Retail agents with excess cash made a deposit into the bank account of the HO at the nearest bank branch <<SKIP to>> - ; once the HO confirmed receipt of the funds, the retail agent's M-Pesa account received e-float from the HO."

*HO means "Head Office" or USA would be "Headquarters
