I like playing games. No matter what kind of game it is I like to make strategies to think about not only what I have to do but to predict the opponent’s move as well. I become to like economics because of these reasons. Recently the economic environment is rapidly changing into the environment seen in game theories. The whole world is becoming a single market as the cooperation’s production is becoming bigger and globalized. It is changing to a situation where the market is splitted between few cooperations who have won the market. It is hard to apply neoclassical economics, which assumes a perfect competition, in this situation. I have learnt that few companies or small groups of consumers are to operate strategically by interacting with each other outside the market. The game theory explains the companies’ economical and strategical actions in this situation. The game theory is developed to predict the result in situations where people are interacting with each other and it is this game theory that could be used to design our social environment in order to make results that are desirable. I would like to learn these things systematically at an university and to have an ability to do a research, analysis and predict the flow of the economics with strategic thinking.
