When asked ‘a single word to describe myself’, I would answer ‘capricious’. I was a kind of kid who wants to become an artist in January, and in March, tells his mom that he would become a lawyer. Entering middle school, it even got worse. I was completely lost; I did not know what I wanted to become or do. I was an ‘average’ student. There was no determination or passion to pursue anything. I had no ‘hardship’ because I had no road to walk along. As every parent does, starting high school years, my parents pressured me to study harder and to decide ‘what to study’. Meaningless repetition of ‘you need to study’, or ‘You should think about what you want to do in your life’, was not helpful. However, the given freedom to choose which classes I would take in school impacted me dramatically. I found out that I enjoy taking and studying  math classes. Taking every Math studies class available, I became familiar with various Mathmetical Problem.  Even though I found out Math studies was the most interesting subject for me to study, however, I could not find a specific job or dream to pursue at school. It was somewhere else.

During the summer vacation of 2015, I visited South Korea to study SAT. Preparing for SAT exam was the top priority but I had another goal in my mind. I wanted to find out what I actually want to become in the future, particularly major in college to pursue. On weekends, I regularly visited the largest book store in Korea to read books to study and to research various fields. The moment I entered the store that day, something grabbed my attention.

(want to write Beautiful mind about  John Nash how I inspiration and how I decide study math subject )

After the summer vacation, I returned to school with John Nash on my mind.

(I struggle to study hard but my grade was still bad. but I know imvery  promising..... it is just if I go to math department im ~~~ in this way I would like to write but I have no idea.)

Expanding the horizon and depth of experience during high school years was on the list of priorities to get ready to face many challenges and trials to get into best universities in the world. Ensuring my academic standing was high enough and establishing decent-looking profile were on my agenda but there was something else that needed to be done. I needed to become strong enough to overcome struggles that would come while studying in one of the finest universities of the world. I had to reach out to every resource and to test and train myself, it was necessary to engage in as many extracurricular activities as possible.

Another significant activity was the Soccer team. Even though I am not an athletic sport-person, I joined the soccer team because I thought experience of being in a team would be meaningful. It turned out to be true. Two years of experience in the team taught me something that I would not have been able to learn elsewhere. Being one of the less talented players on the team, I usually stayed on the bench; yes, I was a bench warmer. Being unable to play on the field myself happened to be tormenting form time to time in the beginning. However, after a while, whether I was on the field or not was not the point, I realized. What mattered was that how much committed I was and how hard I practiced with the best effort. All the tears and sweat were paid off at the most memorable game during the season. At our second game of the club tournament in 2015, our team’s main catcher needed a substitute because of the injury during the first half. I got called by the coach to replace him. The team got discouraged because we all knew that it was practically impossible to play defense properly without our main defender. For me, it was a nerve-shaking position to fill in but, on the other hand, thrilling opportunity to test myself. Until that game, I actually had no chance to play so that I could never know how much I had improved. The result was phenomenal; I did not miss a single mistake during the whole game, even earning three points for our team. Hard work pays off. From that day on, I always keep in my mind that patient and constant work always pays off and I need to be prepared for the moment when the opportunity comes.
