Social Media Marketing Plan

I need to create a Social Media Marketing Plan

Here are the instructions:

Instructions for a small Social Media Marketing Plan for the Riverside Church, Heightsites, FanFlipped or the Montrose Restoration Committee.

Develop a small Social Media Marketing Plan that will substantially strengthen one of our four partners’ social media presence. Your paper should be 10 pages long, double spaced, size 12 font. This paper is worth 20% of your overall grade.

I have been reading two book excerpts to help me revise your Final Project, Social Media Marketing Plan (SMMP) Assignment: Chapter 15 of the Barker book and Chapter 3 of the Zimmerman book.

The Barker book emphasizes the need for a SWOT analysis before preparing a Social Media Marketing Plan, the Zimmerman book focuses more on “finding your audience online” as the basis of your SMMP.

Please create a SMMP that includes the items on page 304 of the Barker book. This page has a table of contents for a fictitious company’s SMMP and I will have this fictitious SMMP uploaded to the course E-reserve page on Monday, October 24th. I have posted a picture of the table of contents below and you can also view most of the pages of this section of the Barker book in the “Look Inside” available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Social-Media-Marketing-Stra...

The two most challenging sections of this plan are the budget and ROI. Please try to address these areas even though two of our partners are exclusively non-profit.

One of the extra bonuses of this class is that you may become the consummate “networker”. Please interact with our partner organizations in a professional manner that demonstrates your willingness to reciprocate. I have placed two reports on the analytics generated by LiveStream, the service that hosts the Riverside Church’s LiveStream recordings in the Syllabus/Course Info folder on the left side of the BlackBoard screen. It may be helpful to ask one of our partners for similar reports (Google Analytics or other Live Streaming Services). You may even stumble up an organization that will be receptive to your help in developing their Social Media strategy on a volunteer or paid basis.

The Riverside Church is across the street from the sprawling Columbia campus. As you design this Social Media Marketing plan chose your target audience wisely. If you peruse the website you will see that Riverside has many different kinds of parishioners and a number of them are very actively involved in Riverside based organizations.

To get a better sense of the Riverside Church’s social media presence investigate the material found at these links:

I have placed the LiveStream analytics for the month of August, both for live views and recorded views that Brian Simpson shared with us in the same folder with these final project instructions. Note on the recorded one, it lists other things besides worship events –ignore these. We are only interested in the 4 Sundays of worship: 8/7, 8/14, 8/21, and 8/28. If you have questions about the reports, please let me know.

Please cite the materials you find properly because our partner organizations may need to contact the people or read these materials in order to benefit from the work we are doing. Here is a wonderful guide for composing proper citations:
