In Chapter 12 the authors talk about "Internal" theft, losses caused by employees in an organization. When I worked in retail, we found that the number of crimes committed by outsiders ("External Theft" such as shoplifting) was much greater, but the financial impact of each case of employee dishonesty was far higher.
Please think about the concept of "relative (dis)honesty". You may want to apply personal experiences or do a little research on the topic.
Then post your thoughts. Do you believe that honesty is "relative", that everyone has a different definition of what is a dishonest act? If you agree - can it be controlled by the security culture of a company?
