Introduction

 

There are various initiatives all over the world that insist on the need to avoid smoking. It is almost common knowledge that smoking is harmful to the health of smokers. There is no way around it. Almost all organs of the body are affected in one way or another. It is also responsible for various cancer types and other health complications. The risks include also those that are around smokers that end up inhaling the smoke as secondhand smokers. Smoking is therefore a dangerous activity due to the harmful side effects it has on the health of human beings with complications compounding if it is done excessively.
