In this assignment, you will create a conversation between someone who is a native language speaker and someone who recently immigrated to this country and is not familiar with the idioms and slang in the new mainstream culture’s language. After you have built this conversation, provide a summary of how the conversation and language used has implications for generational and ethnic differences and biases, and perhaps misunderstandings.

Length: Four pages: 1 page for the conversation and 3 pages for analysis and summary

Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course by providing new thoughts and insights relating directly to the topic. Your response should contain at least two references. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards. Be careful to adhere to Northcentral’s Academic Integrity Policy.
