A study was conducted to determine the relationship of age to a persons ability to see signs at a distance. The following data was collected. (from question 7)

For the age versus sight distance data (of questions 7 - 9 - data included), the value of the correlation coefficient tells us that...

A. There is a strong negative relationship between age and sight distance

B. There is a strong positive linear relationship between age and sight distance

C. There is an extremely weak relationship between age and sight distance

D. No conclusion can be drawn since the correlation coefficient shouldn't be negative
