pay taxes regardless

do you think it's unfair that minors, who have no control of how much and where tax money goes because we cant vote in the election, still have pay taxes regardless whenever we buy things? and most minors don't have a job, or dont work much so we dont have much money to begin with, yet we have to pay as much tax as an adult with a well paying job whenever we buy something. i mean, if people with lower incomes pay lower income tax than those with a higher income, shouldn't it be the same with minors when it comes to taxes like HST/GST do other people think this, or am i the only one..? lol
