recommeder system

I need help to code a small project in python. It is my college project to make recommeder system (Movie recommendation)using machine learning algorithm. The project should have also UML diagram to show the flow of source code and the system. It should not be so complex, the main thing is to implement atleast one algorithm(K-nearest neighbors), must be giving some recommendation at the end. Strictly should follow plagiarism rule(do not copy paste others work).I would prefer the one who had experience with it.
