? IT SupportÂ
• 8 main serversÂ
• 12 WorkstationsÂ
o Ground Floor:Â
? Main AssemblyÂ
• 5 WorkstationsÂ
• 8 Wireless DevicesÂ
• Building 2Â
o Ground Floor:Â
? Main manufacturing floorÂ
• 10 Wireless DevicesÂ
• 4 Computer Controlled DevicesÂ
o First Floor:Â
? Component designÂ
• 8 WorkstationsÂ
• 1 3D PrinterÂ
o Second Floor:Â
? Orders and ShippingÂ
• 5 WorkstationsÂ
• Building 3Â
o Ground Floor:Â
? Small components assemblyÂ
• 7 WorkstationsÂ
• 3 Wireless DevicesÂ
• 3 Computer Controlled Testing DevicesÂ
? Electrical manufacturingÂ
• 11 WorkstationsÂ
o First Floor:Â

Task DetailsÂ
You have been hired to design and, after approval, implement a network for WMS. In this submission you should make a topology design of the network taking into account what you know about collisions and network devices. You should also think about how VLANs could be used for restricting sensitive resources to only those areas that need it and how VLANs would be represented in a LOGICAL topology.Â
You should use the symbols provided in the PDF for Week 1 workshop or (if you choose to use Visio) the Cisco Visio Stencils from the link provided.Â
Remember, this is a topology design. Logical concepts need to be displayed, physical implementation design decisions (such as which model router to use) are not important.Â
