You need to have a banner or some type of "branding look." for a banner. Your buttons in some way satisfy this...however, users must know where they are in your website at all times. This means buttons must have a text along with it because you don't want to make your users think (or be confused.) Icons in and of themselves don't make good navigation because different icons mean different things to different people (so don't make them think.) Your objective is to communicate effectively -- the question is how do you do that? You also need to rethink your color combinations. Pick colors that go together. Also, think about the style of your buttons/icons -- do the styles go together? Look up "Don't Make Me Think" for recommendations about web design. Think about how your text color will work against the background color -- remember readability.
