The main aim of the report is to redesign an existing campus or university IP addressing space. IPV4 public addressing modeling is followed over the current design using 2 Class B within the range of 144.149.0.0 and 131.172.0.0 and within the private addressing range of 10.0.0.0 and from the addressing mechanism implemented over the current IP network design of university, it is clear that, a very generalized allocation is done and the main challenge with this type of IP design is that, further IPV6 deployment and application enhancement required entire redesign of the IP addressing mechanisms and thus kills lot of bandwidth and payload on the IPV6 application packets, by which the overall traffic across the wireless server will increase. Using IPv4 version IP address this will be having 32 bit IP address this will lead to shortage of the IP address as the University is having many branches around the city or country they need to maintain large network and also they need to provide the security for all network access also as every university is having their own personal records for their usage.
