Wireless communication and the respective applications have gained ample popularity with respective the range of communication support and quality of services being offered. In general a typical wireless communication eliminates the risk of lot of wired infrastructure and can be easily deployed when compared with wired technology. The main objective of the report is to evaluate the QoS requirements of wireless networks and resolve the existing issues. OPNET modeler simulation with four scenarios will created by simulating the TCP and UDP generating applications over the typical wireless networks. Based on the simulation results the actual QoS constraints for cognitive radio systems of wireless networks will be evaluated. Applications supported over wireless networks have gained lot of importance with respective to the QoS requirements and traffic generation. There are many wireless network models discussed over literature and from the basic analysis it is clear that the main issue is with QoS constraints and cognitive radio system spectrum and bandwidth allocation.
