The purpose of the project is to provide the opportunity for you to research, understand, organize, and present an in-depth study of a current topic in communications and networking. Projects can address virtually any management or technical issue, opportunity, or constraint. The topic MUST be current, in-depth, and should not be a historical review of some topic.

Project reports are to be about 8-10 double-spaced pages (exclusive of title page, references, figures, appendices, etc.). Reports must follow the APA style guide. A link to the basic requirements of APA is on my web site.

The report must use a minimum of 6 different sources and at most ½ of your sources may be web-only sources. In general, your sources should be journals, conference proceedings, white papers, or technical reports. Your textbook does NOT count as one of the sources and in general you should avoid textbooks because they tend to be historical in nature. There are various full-text journals available on the Internet. These will count as non-web sources.
