I have an a assignment where I am to make a brochure on some of the development stages of a chosen age group. I have chose new born to 1 year. I find I go too into depth with some questions and get side tracked from the big picture. I was hoping you could answer the questions below so I can compare notes and put it into brochure form!

Newborn to year 1

Your brochure is designed to educate the public about your chosen age group. Your brochure should be designed to be displayed in a doctor’s office, hospitals or schools to educate the public.

It must answer or address the following:

1.  Describe the main physical characteristics common to the age group.

2. Name 3 developmental milestones for this age group.

3. Describe amount of sleep and rest this age group requires.

4. Describe cognitive and moral development- Piaget, Freud, Kohlberg?

5. Describe nutrition and health promotion.

6. Describe play and safety. What are appropriate toys for this age group?

7. Helpful tips for parents. Common concerns of parents?
