I need a tutor from Nursing Faculty to write my Nursing Case study paper. Please, only nursing faculty pick up my course work. No other tutor should pick up the work. Just nurses. thanks.
Respond to the following case study related to professional roles and professional development of the nurse. Be sure to support each of your answers with evidence from the text or from articles.
Scenario
Marcos is a nursing student in his last clinical rotation of the nursing program. This morning he has been providing total patient care to the two patients his clinical instructor assigned him. After he made his morning assessments, Marcos asked his instructor to review and co-sign his electronic documentation. His instructor supervised him as he administered the 0900 medications. They had to seek out another nurse to witness the partial wasting of a narcotic for one of his patients, as the prescribed dosage was unavailable in a prepackaged form.
During their lunch break, Marcos was telling his clinical group about the last Student Nurses’ Association meeting he attended. He was quite proud of how well their peer-led dosage calculation study session went with some of the beginning nursing students in the program. Marcos commented, “It seems like just yesterday I was the one having problems with dosage calculation. I’m so ready to graduate and not have to do another nursing care plan in my life!” Another member of his clinical group, Janelle, replied, “I don’t think I’m ready. I’m good in clinical but I don’t think I’m ready for the real world yet.” Maria, another member of their clinical group, added to the conversation, “I know what you mean Janelle. Clinical is good but I don’t think it’s preparing us for what we will be really doing as a nurse when we are on our own. I don’t see how what we do as a student is anything like what the nurses really do.” Marcos added another comment, “At least we won’t have to take any more tests after we pass the NCLEX.”
At this point, their clinical instructor joined the conversation and said, “I think you each have important viewpoints. Let’s discuss this topic during post-conference.” At the end of the clinical day, the clinical instructor had the students analyze their role as a student and compare it to the role of a licensed nurse on the same floor.
