Size an afterburner and specify the flow rate of the methane needed to control 8000cfm of air from a paint-drying oven. The oven exhaust gases are available at 250degrees F. Assume that the design temperature and residence time have been established as 1300degrees F and 0.6sec, respectively. The type of burner used in the process requires outside air at a mass ratio of 12:1 (air to fuel gas)
