What is a common feature of a commercial applications

What is a common feature of a commercial applications like "Microsoft Office Suite" that you feel is confusing or awkward for many people such as: buttons are disabled, bugs are not fix quickly, numbering, and small print on the license agreement, etc.? What are some changes you would recommend to make it easier to use? Please respond to this question in detail. Possibly with source examples if at all possible. It would be greatly appreciated.
