Question #1:Â For those of you familiar with behavioral and cognitive behavioral therapy, describe how some of these early philosophies are related to these psychological therapy modalities. Â

Question#2:There are two concepts in this section on Locke. Â The first is his disagreement with Descartes, that we are born with innate ideas. Â The second is that all emotions stem from either pain or pleasure. Â There may still be some debate about these concepts today. Â Pick one side of the arguement about innate ideas and give your reasoning for it. Â Also argue for or against the existence of only two emotions.Â

Â How might their disagreement about Free Will play out in a more modern approach in psychology? Watch this video and make an argument for or against free will.
