Using the HCS12 Microcontrollers and Embedded Systems,

I having problem with the three practice problems below. Using the HCS12 Microcontrollers and Embedded Systems, 1st Edition and I was able to get meaning of function but failed to grasp how to select the answer with proper explanation for my answer that is required for this exercise. I need a step by step how to solve this problem? It is due today. Thank you

 

1.Assume that the TEN of TSCR1(Timer System Control Register 1) is set to 1, IOS4 of TIOS (Timer Input/output Select Register) is set to 1, and OM4 is set to 0, OL4 is set to 1, when C4F is changed from 0 to 1:

A.   Pin4 (PT4) of PTT will toggle between high and low

B.    Pin4 (PT4) of PTT will be constant low

C.    Pin4 (PT4) of PTT will be constant high

D.   Pin4 (PT4) of PTT will disconnected from timer system

2. When bit3 (D3) of the Timer Input/Output Select Register TIOS is cleared to 0

A.   The Timer system channel 3 is enabled

B.    The Timer system channel 3 is configured as output channel

C.    The Timer system channel 3 is configured as input channel

D.   The Timer system channel 3 is disabled
