The Internet is one of the most pervasive technologies of the modern world. Social media, games, online literature, video and more saturate the daily lives of all those connected. Already, the Internet has likely influenced your own life in some manner. Perhaps it influences your political perspective, how you spend your free time, the manner in which you interact with friends or even how and what you learn. However, the Internet is constantly evolving, and the Web of 10 years ago is very different from the Web of today.

Consider the Web in 10 years or even 20 years. How do you think it will change? What effects do you think this future Web will have on people and society? In this Discussion, your challenge is to writedown a prediction on what effects you think the future Web, and in particular, the enormous number of documents accumulating on the Web, will have on your life and the lives of the next generation.
