tardiness penalties

Consider an instance where each job is subject to earliness and tardiness penalties and w’j = w”j = wj for all j. However, wj is not necessarily equal to wk. The jobs have different due dates. Prove or disprove that EDD minimizes the sum of the earliness and tardiness penalties.
